About

There are many residencies available around the world in a variety of settings, from cosy artist-run studios to bigger established galleries and Universities. They each have their own expectations of the artist, commissions and the level of interaction between the artist and host community. It is worth gathering more details about the residency you are considering to see if it is a good fit for your needs.

Residencies can be partially or even fully supported, whilst others are self-funded, where you are encouraged to seek your own funding means. With all applications, do take note of the registration deadline, if any.

This listing of Residencies is not exhaustive, and you may be able to find opportunities from other art-form specific intermediaries here. If you know of any Residencies here in Singapore or overseas that should be added to this list, email us here.
